Buck & Honey's - Monona

First time visiting. Made reservations online and we were seated right away. Love the atmosphere. Beautiful and great for our date night. Started with a glass of wine. Nice selection of choices. We loved the fire cracker shrimp. The stuffed chicken was very delicious along with the sides. Ribeye was good...a little more done than I wanted and not as flavorful as I like, but good. Loved the sides. Desserts were delicious. Our waitress was very attentive and welcoming. She made sure we were happy and management checked in even though I hadn't complained about my steak. (It was good, just not amazing.) They wanted to make sure we were happy. I felt very taken care of and we will definitely be back.

I've lived in Madison for 15 years and never tried this place until I had a hankering for some brunch this morning! I sat at the bar and got food and a drink...or three. The bartenders were really friendly and the food was sooo good! The bacon on my sandwich was definitely from a real butcher. The barback is also really cool and unique. It's got birch trees in it and look like a terrarium. I'd put a big snake in there. Anyway, definitely worth my drive from Middleton and I will be back!

Had my birthday dinner there and it was great. For my family & I’s first time eating at Buck and Honey’s, we have no complaints. The food was delicious, the service was great, the atmosphere there was nice! Will definitely be going back.

Excellent venue with nice warm atmosphere. The jambalaya was decent but not quite traditional. Could have used a little more sausage. The bacon-wrapped dates were pretty good and the creme brulee was on par with most restaurants. The espresso martini I ended up being pretty much the best part of the night for me. It was definitely delicious.

This was a enjoyable dinner stop on my recent trip! The Mac and cheese was soft but not flabby, with a thick cheesy sauce. This Mac gets a 8/10!

We were there for lunch and everything was great — delicious food, and that chocolate cake was the cherry on top! Manager Lisa made us feel just like we were at home. We’ll definitely be back soon!

Very nice restaurant with good food choices. The Prime Rib was delicious and the salad fresh. The French onion soup was very good and nicely served. They had a good wine selection and cocktails. Service was very good. Our server, Aidia, was excellent and took very good care of our group.

Fun place with lots of food options! This place was packed on Mother’s Day! Always recommend getting a reservation on popular dates. We enjoyed a nice meal outside which was nice given it was very crowded inside. The drinks were really refreshing (hibiscus cocktail and espresso martini). This restaurant has many different option so if you’re looking to bring a large group, this is perfect as it will have something for everyone. Portions were pretty large which reflects the price. Everything was pretty good!
